About The Free AutoCAD blocks
The official AutoCAD mobile app by Autodesk® Take the power of AutoCAD wherever you go! AutoCAD mobile is a DWG viewing application, with easy-to-use drawing and drafting tools that allow you to view, create, edit, and share AutoCAD drawings on mobile devices - anytime, anywhere.
Simply click on the text link, next to the image preview, to download a zip file which contains the block.
Most blocks are on layer 0, byblock or bylayer and insert at 0,0,0. A PURGE and AUDIT has been run on each DWG file.
Please say thanks for this free service by sending us your own CAD blocks and we will publish them for you !

Can't find the AutoCAD block you want?
If you cannot find an AutoCAD block you need here, get someone to draw it for you cheaply on Freelancer.com. Many of us are having a great success in finding work or outsourcing work to this website. Freelancer, it works really well - we like it - and we believe you will too.
E-book: AutoCAD Block Best Practices
We draw repetitively when using AutoCAD. If we manage the drawing elements as reusable contents, it will increase our productivity significantly. Not only can we draw faster, we can add information to our blocks. Which allows us to generate reports automatically. This is what Edwins e-book entitled AutoCAD Block Best Practices is all about. Yes, increase your productivity with the block!

Autodesk and WorldSkills International support the goal of helping students develop high standards of competence and workplace skills.
Competitors in Mechanical Engineering Skill 05 must use Inventor to develop the parts, assemblies, animations, and drawings of the design as it would be done in a commercial engineering department. A broad knowledge of Inventor is required to be a successful competitor in this skill.
The competition is divided into four modules. To help you prepare for each module, we provided projects with a task (see Projects tab, below). The content also includes videos and tutorials to help you design in Inventor.
For the full WorldSkills Technical Description, download the Mechanical Engineering Design – CAD Technical Description.
Each of these projects help competitors prepare for the Mechanical Engineering Skill 05 competition. The projects range from introductory to WorldSkills International test pieces. The projects align to each of the four modules included in the competitions. Explore a brief description of what each module entails.
Level 1 projects introduce WorldSkills competitions and are suitable for the first round of heats as an internal competition within your institution, or as a classroom project. These projects concentrate on WorldSkills Module 1 (Mechanical Assemblies and Detail Drawings for Manufacture), which covers the creation of parts, assemblies, drawings, exploded views, and animations.
Tasks:
4–Cylinder Boxer Engine (WorldSkills Module 1)
Model multiple components, and then assemble the Boxer Engine using your modeled parts, as well as some given parts. Then produce an assembly drawing, exploded drawing, and two animations.

Level 2 projects include more advanced topics ideal for use at a national competition, or in an advanced class within your institution. The projects cover WorldSkills Module 1 (Mechanical Assemblies and Detail Drawings for Manufacture) and Module 3 (Mechanical Design Challenge), which require modification of an existing design and/or fulfillment of a design brief.
Tasks:
6-Legged Robot (WorldSkills Module 3)
Redesign a single part to fix a mechanical clasp, and produce a technical drawing to show your change. Then modify the cover of the robot, and produce numerous rendered images and animations to showcase these changes.

Level 3 projects are either past WorldSkills International test pieces or were created for this level. These projects prepare competitors for WorldSkills International competitions or National Finals. They cover all four WorldSkills Modules: Module 1 (Mechanical Assemblies and Detail Drawings for Manufacture); Module 2 (Mechanical Fabrication), which covers sheet metal and steel fabrication; Module 3 (Mechanical Design Challenge); and Module 4 (Reverse Engineering), which tests the ability to use hand measuring tools to create a 3D model from a physical component and produce a manufacturing drawing for the component.
Tasks:
Cardboard Box Assembly Line (WorldSkills Module 2)
Model parts from the given drawings, including the use of the frame generator. Then create drawings for exploded views, isometric views, including balloons and parts list, and a flat pattern fabrication drawing. There is a large emphasis on using presentation files to create advanced assembly animations.

Digger Arm Actuation Design (WorldSkills Module 3)
Assemble the digger arm, and then use your engineering knowledge to determine which stroke cylinders will be required from the set. Then use iParts and iAssemblies for the different stroke cylinders. An advanced animation is required to show the full physical simulation of the digger arm as required by the competition parameters.
